: Rummages through the pages of a huge black tome

The ritual of the bloodbond
has stricken fear into the hearts of lawabiding citizens,
from the ancients times of Mondain and Minax,
when it was first conceived,
and has remained a dark tale to them to this day.
However, for worshippers of evil like us gathered here,
the secret of the ritual bloodbond signifies
the only real bonding between two people.

When the first wars between good and evil were fought,
our ancestors realized that they would be even more powerfull,
if they were bonded by blood.
It was then that our Overlord Mondain started experimenting
with the ritual mingling of the blood of man and woman.
He found out that man and woman bonded by this ritual,
could bring more havoc upon the world than two apart.
Two unbonded people would be vulnerable to the temptations of good,
while two who mingled their blood will reinforce eachothers
perseverance in evil
Two unbonded people fighting together could be driven apart by enemy force
and be slain individually,
while two that are bonded together would fight as one
and conquer their enemies back to back.
Two unbonded people could corner an enemy and let him slip away,
while two united by blood would hold him down and slay him.
After much experimenting Mondain came upon the ritual of the blood,
consisting of the actual mingling of the blood,
and the powerfull spell that keeps the blood of man and woman
alive in eachothers bodies.
